Q. What is the history of the event?
A. The inaugural Challenge Bathurst was held in 2016 however the first ever motor racing meeting was held over Easter in 1938.
Q. What types of cars will be participating at the Event?
A. Essentially any cars listed on the circuit’s track licence are eligible including GT, sports, production cars and even normal road registered cars.
Q. Is there are racing?
A. No, as the Event comprises two days of Supersprint (no time limits however no racing per se) and two days of regularity (minimum lap time of 2:36 with aim of driving as close to the drivers nominated time each lap).
Q. Is the Event televised or streamed?
A. No, however live timing of all sessions is available on the Event’s website.

A. Due to the conditions of the 2021 permit, unfortunately there are no spectators.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. No, animals of any type are prohibited with exception to assistance animals

A. Vendors will be operating from the Paddock (behind the garages)

Q. Is there a ‘Will Call’ Office?
A. Yes, referred to as the ‘Accreditation Office’ and located at Gate 2 inside the circuit. The hours of operation are:
Wednesday pre-Event: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 6.00am – 5.00pm
Q. What facilities are there for disabled patrons?
A. Disabled patrons can park in Harris Park and access the disabled elevator attached to the main pedestrian bridge which connects with the pit complex where there is a suitable elevator to access the Paddock (area behind the garages). Disabled toilets are located in the pit complex along with ramps to access the entire complex.

A. No, the nearest is located in Bathurst township, approximately 3 km away

A. Bathurst is approximately 3 hours by car from the Sydney CBD, 4.5 hours by train or less than an hour by plane – visit www.rex.com.au for flights.
